Hrithik Roshan recently shared heartwarming memories from the sets of Karan Arjun, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The 1995 blockbuster, directed by Rakesh Roshan, re-released on 22nd November 2024, bringing joy to Bollywood fans. The iconic film, starring SRK, Salman, and Raakhee Gulzar, continues to hold a special place in Indian cinema. A day after the re-release, Hrithik posted throwback pictures that stirred nostalgia. He also shared some fun anecdotes and valuable lessons he learned while assisting his father during the film's making.
On Instagram, Hrithik shared two priceless photos from the sets. The first black-and-white picture captures Hrithik standing with Shah Rukh and Salman amidst picturesque mountains. The second image shows Shah Rukh flying a kite while Salman holds the manja, with Hrithik and others from the crew watching. Reflecting on those moments, Hrithik wrote, “The Karan Arjun experience. Ha! I look like a young Kabir with Karan and Arjun.”
Hrithik recalled a unique incident involving the film's screening preparations. “As an assistant, I remember Minerva being the main theatre on release day. My dad’s other assistant, Anurag (seen in the second pic in a white sweatshirt), and I screened the print before release. We were disappointed as it looked dark and dull. The entire screen was cleaned, and as the dirt disappeared into the washcloth, the manager said, ‘?? ?? ????? ?? ??? ?? ??????? ???? ??.’”

Hrithik wrote, “During the song Bhangda Paale, a merry Salman and Shahrukh wanted to leave Sariska and drive to Delhi, promising to return by morning. I literally jumped on the car bonnet to stop them! The call time was 6 am, and I couldn’t let my dad lose a shoot day.”
As a 17-year-old, Hrithik found working with Salman and Shah Rukh highly inspiring. “Watching them act was the best practical acting school ever,” he added. Fans can now relive the magic of Karan Arjun on the big screen!
