New Delhi, June 25 (IANS) Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron can't stop raving about working with actor Will Smith for the second time after almost eight years in their film 'Hancock'. She says he is truly 'inspiring'.

'He (Will Smith) is a rare breed. He is a phenomenal actor. He is incredibly smart and he is inspiring for me to be around. What makes me fall madly in love with him is his willingness to go anywhere he needs to go to get what is needed,' Charlize said in an e-mail interview.

'He could so easily just lean back but he shows up and works incredibly hard. We have a very interesting relationship,' she said.

The two actors have earlier shared screen space in 'The Legend of Bagger Vance' in 2000.

'We really hit it off well. Along with Matt Damon, we all hit it off and had a great time making the film. I didn't get to work with Will that much on that film but we goofed around a lot on set. I wanted to tap more into the working relationship,' she said.

In 'Hancock', a comedy superhero flick, Charlize plays Mary, the wife of a public relations consultant Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman). And superhero Hancock (Smith) saves Embrey's life in the film.

About her role, Charlize said: 'Anyone who so consciously decides that they are going to make this very specific life for herself usually has a dark secret they are hiding. That is Mary.

'She makes this conscious decision to ... be this super mom to her stepson and be the perfect wife. She lives in this bubble and everything in that bubble is very sacred to her. And she is adamant in protecting that.'

The film, which releases July 4, required her to do an eclectic range of activities while shooting.

'We did everything from wire work one day to a four-page monologue the next that would break your heart.

'It was crazy and funny. Each day was so different and we never knew each day what type of movie we were making,' said the actress who won the Oscar for her role in 'Monster'.

According to her, 'Hancock' would be the craziest ride that an audience would have ever had.

'I have never said this about any film but this film is really original. We took a genre that audiences are quite familiar with and did something very unique.'
