Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin's Neil Bhatt: We have been trying to give the entertainment fans deserve

Neil Bhatt has been receiving immense love and support from the fans for the successful show that Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is. Not only has it managed to stay on the TRP charts for the longest time, but also enjoys a vast fan following even online as fans continue to root for the show.

India Forums got in touch with the actor where he spoke about love from fans, the upcoming drama, and much more. Read the conversation here.

First things first, how have you been enjoying all the love from the fans for the show?

I have always acknowledged my fans and we have reached here because of their love and support. Even where I am right now, it is because they have always supported me, I have always attributed my success, or whatever you call it to them. Especially for this show, the love we've received, I think I speak on behalf of the whole team, we are here because of them.

Neil, you have a contrasting off-screen equation with Aishwarya, how do you work your scenes?

I've answered this earlier also, we are professional actors, and when we are in front of the camera, Aishwarya is Pakhi, and I am Virat, the characters that we are, we play that, and we are actors so that's what we do. We are actors first and then we are what we are. Our professional life always takes before our personal space.

The track ahead is going to be all things all at once - intense, romantic, and dramatic, tell us more?

As a lot of fans and viewers know that I don't really read the scene, I don't know what is the drama and what is the story. I know bits and pieces and the larger track, but what I am always aware of is the emotional quotient of the characters, so yes, there's going to be a lot of drama that is in store, and emotional turmoil at the same time, a lot of resolutions with unanswered questions getting answered. That's what I think is going to happen for the four characters.

Rekha ma'am made an appearance on the show, how was the experience?

I've said this earlier as well, Rekha ma'am is a legend, and her supporting our show, and our title is a from her song, her being there for us, or even humming that line is a big support and it enhances the show, and everything else. We are lucky and honoured and privileged. 

Finally, message to the fans.

From my end, I can just say that you have always supported me and continue to do, it has increased manifold, I hope you continue doing that. We have been trying to give the entertainment you deserve, we are trying to do justice to the character we are playing as the script is the king. SaiRat is because of you guys, the show GHKPM is because of you guys, so thankyou for making us what we are today.

Neil plays the role of Virat Chavan in the show, while it also features Ayesha Singh and Aishwarya Sharma in the lead roles as Sai and Pakhi, respectively.
