Gudi Padwa, a springtime festival celebrated by Maharashtrian and Konkani Hindus, is being celebrated today. People clean their houses, make rangoli designs, host gudi (a garlanded flag with flowers, a saree, and an upturned vessel), and eat delicious foods during the festival.

The festival is also known as Maharashtrian New Year and is a very holy day for them. So today, on this auspicious festival, here are some typical Maharashtrian looks inspired by Bollywood divas which you can recreate.

Kangana Ranaut

Bhumi Pednekar

Pednekar, dolled up in a traditional Maharashtrian saree and gold jewellery, exudes joyful occasion vibes. In true Marathi mulgi fashion, Pednekar completed her look with a chandrakor bindi. Because the wearables and saree are heavy, she chose a no-makeup makeup look. We especially like the neatly arched brows.
