It seems Constance Wu's wish has finally come true. Fresh Off The Boat is officially ending with Season 6. The show will be wrapping up the production after 15 episodes and the series finale will be divided into two parts as the last two episodes. Even though a particular date for the finale hasn't been set but it is expected to come around sometime in early 2020.

Vulture broke the news first. As one would remember, the show sparked a major controversy back in May when the show's sixth season renewal did not sit well with star of the show, Constance Wu, who tweeter and (later deleted), "So upset right now that I'm literally crying. Ugh. Fuck." She later explained that she was upset that the renewal meant having to give up another project, and has since said her castmates were supportive when they began filming the current season.

The show has been one of the most critically acclaimed sitcoms even though a recent couple of seasons haven't been received well entirely too well.
