The series features Krystle Dsouza, Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal in lead roles and revolves around a young woman named Tarini's journey from being a gold digger to finding the gold within her.The story focuses on friendship, romance and self worth.

Here’s small review of the series:

Plot:

The series starts with Tarini Bisht (Krystle D’souza) narrating her story, from finding the gold outside to finding the gold within. The story starts with Tarini’s childhood scene where her father is selling her dead mother’s painting (who is a lookalike of Tarini) to a dealer which amuses Tarini, when she tries to stop him the dealer says that everyone and everything comes with a price and instantly those words change Tarini’s perspective towards life. Then and there she decided she will become a millionaire, by hook or by crook. She and her father shift to another city where Tarini spends all her school days and meets a girl named Amrita aka Ami. The two become best friends till the last day of school but after school gets over, Ami shifts back to Delhi. Tarini stays back and completes her education in Journalism and as soon as she gets done with it, she decides to go to Delhi, to start a new life with a million dreams and aspirations in her eyes.

What happens when she reaches Delhi? What is her story from dating rich men to gain status and power to find what really matters to her? What happens when her friendship and love is put to test? Watch the series to find out.

Performances:

Krystle D’souza has made a comeback in acting after quite a long time and she dazzles is every frame that she is in. She has given her best performance, however we think she was not comfortable with the emotional scenes, there was a scope of betterment there. Anushka Ranjan as Ami looks good on screen but is a little expressionless. Aditya Seal has done a fabulous job and definitely is a show stealer. All the other supporting actors have done a commendable job.

Screenplay & Direction:

Screenplay and writing is very tight and captivating. The story does not bore you at any point and you are always curious to know what will happen next. Though it does have some borrowed concepts like Tarini calling her father by his name and so. Some twists are predictable but some are interesting. The narration by Krystle works with the kind of storytelling.

Set Design & Background Music:

The series is shot is mostly shot in Delhi and has captivated the vibe of it correctly. However, the songs are melodious and add so much to the narrative. All the songs, be it Oo Panchi Re or Naznina, they are shot beautifully and add meaning to the story.

Verdict:

Fittrat is the kind of story that you will relate to and would like to binge watch with your best friend. It is the correct mix of good storytelling and Masala entertainment.

I felt the other way, Adity was not upto mark in emotional scenes and Krystal us perfect and just nailed in every bit onscreen.

Wish the end scene is just her plot to bajao him... or else I would be disappointed in this show which seems quite promising!
