Elli Avram and Sumit Vyas approached for ALT Balaji's upcoming web series The Verdict

Earlier yesterday, we reported that ALT Balaji is coming up with an interesting new web series based on the famous Nanavati vs Maharashtra murder case. In fact, the Akshay Kumar-Eleana Dcruz starrer Rustom was based on the same case. The series will be directed by Shashant Shah.

It was also reported that actor Viraf Phiroze Patel, who was last seen in Star Plus' Naamkarann, has been roped in to play the role of Prem Ahuja, the lover who gets murdered. Also, talented actor Manav Kaul will be portraying the character of Nanavati and Sacred Games fame Kubbra Sait will be playing Prem's sister.

Now the news has it that the gorgeous actress Elli Avram has been approached to play the English wife of Kawas Nanavati, lady Sylvia. Looking at her looks, she seems to be the apt choice for the role. 

Also Sumeet Vyas will be seen playing lawyer Ram Jethmalani.

How wonderful does that sound now!

The stellar cast already has us excited for the show. It will be interesting how they portray their characters and how do they narrate the story.
