Disha Parmar on Women's Day: I think it’s a great time to be a woman

Women today are no longer ordinary human beings and while they might not always get their dues, they always speak up and speak their hearts. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 star Disha Parmar is also one such human who is upfront about her views, and never lets anyone bog her down. As we celebrate Women's Day today, we also spoke to her about being a women today, the work she is doing and some more.

Disha, while talking about being a women in such times, working, and keeping up, she says,

''I think it’s a great time to be a woman because you’ve finally got the world listening and taking note of your hard-work and accomplishments. In all fields, women everyday are shattering glass-ceilings! Women have got the inherent tenacity, patience and perseverance to succeed. We just need to really believe in ourselves. We need to stop feeling guilty about not being at home when we’re at work and about not being at work when we’re at home. While I have tasted success, I believe I have a lot more to do and prove. For now, I am doing my best at work, hopefully raising the bar. For me, Integrity, charity and compassion is the core of my character and perfection is not the key, progress is.''

Meanwhile, the show has been grabbing a lot of attention for not just its storyline but also for the chemistry that Nakuul Mehta and Disha have brought on-screens. The episode last night enabled fans to see just some more of it as Priya and Ram had a bonding session, among other things.
