Did Sonakshi Sinha always ignore advice from Luv Sinha? Old interview resurfaces after marriage

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot some days back. There were many rumours on how the bride’s family was not happy with her decision to marry Zaheer Iqbal. However, Shatrughan Sinha dismissed all the gossip. He said that just because she is his daughter, and he is a politician it does not mean that Sonakshi Sinha cannot marry a man of her choice. Her brother Kush Sinha said that he was there at the function but his pictures were not taken. Luv Sinha did not clarify very explicitly but said he would not like to associate with some people. 

In an old interview, Luv Sinha had said that he always has Sonakshi Sinha’s best interests in mind. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan way back in 2023, Luv Sinha had said, “As a brother, I would always be concerned about other individuals. See, everyone on the surface tries to show that they’re good. Everyone on the surface tries to project themselves a certain way. But the reality can be different. I as a brother, would do my duty to keep a check on anyone and everyone.” 

He said he was not possessive or dominating as an elder brother. Luv said he is not someone who orders his sister. Luv Sinha said he would not put his sister under house arrest for any reason. Then, he said that Sonakshi Sinha lives on her own terms. 

He was quoted as saying, “That’s a different thing that she doesn’t listen because she is how she is. I come from an angle where I am not benefitting from anything. Outsiders may benefit. Outsiders will always benefit or try to use or have an agenda.”

Zaheer Iqbal is the son of Iqbal Ratansi who is a jeweler by profession. He is also a childhood friend of Salman Khan.
