Dia Mirza shocked everyone this morning when she announced about parting ways with husband Sahil Sangha after eleven years of togetherness. In a joint statement, the duo has stated that it's a mutual decision to get separated but they will continue to remain friends and be there for each other.
They have further thanked their friends and family for understanding their decision and has asked the media to respect their privacy. On a concluding note, the couple has revealed that they won't be commenting any further on this topic.

The official statement shared on Dia and Sahil's her social media reads:
"After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate.
We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other.
We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time.
We will not be commenting any further on this matter.

After dating for around six years, Dia and Sahil tied the knot in 2014 in a lavish wedding ceremony at a farmhouse in Ghitorni. It was an intimate Arya Samaj wedding with only family and close friends of the duo in attendance.
Sharing about it, back then, Dia was quoted saying, "I am very happy. It was a beautiful Arya Samaj ceremony. The vows were explained to us. It was wonderful because it was good to be conscious of what you are going through and what are the vows you are exchanging. It was a dream wedding," Dia said post her wedding while posing for the shutterbugs outside the venue."
