Celebs express Shock after the Sudden Demise of Cameron Boyce who passed away at the age of 20

In a sudden turn of event, Disney star Cameron Boyce left for heavenly abode at the age of twenty. The young actor is fondly remembered for playing Adam Sandler's son in Grown Ups (2010). His other notable performances include TV show Jessie and the movie, Descendants (2015), amongst others.

In an official statement released to CNN on behalf of the Cameron family, their spokesperson has revealed the cause of actor's death. Cameron passed away in his sleep after a seizure, which was a result of an ongoing medical condition, for which the actor was receiving treatment.

"The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother," Cameron's family wrote in honour of their loved one, who went away too soon.

Soon after the news broke out, Adam Sandler took to his social media account to pay a heartfelt tribute to his onscreen son.

"Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around. Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world. Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences," a heartbroken Sandler wrote.

On the other hand, Joey King tweeted, "To Cameron Boyce; To hear of your passing has completely shaken me. My little cousins always asked if I knew u so I could introduce them. Your work inspired people & provided happiness as did your light from within. I hope you Rest In Peace. You touched a lot of peoples hearts."

The official handle of Disney Music too extended their condolences to his family. Their post read: "We mourn the loss of Cameron Boyce and send our condolences to his family, friends and fans around the world. You’ll be in our hearts forever."

Cameron’s best friend and co-star China Anne McClain shared a video on her Instagram where she can be seen crying while speaking on the passing of her best friend. "I’ll never again have a friend like Cameron”

Jamie Chung shared a picture of Cameron and wrote alongside: "A tremendous talent. Gone too soon. RIP #CameronBoyce"

Papi Chulo shared a video where he can be seen speaking about Cameron. He wrote: "shared some words about my only time meeting Cameron Boyce ????????". In another post he penned down a heartfelt message: "seeing other people hurt! hurts me! I know what it feels like to wanna give up or to just wanna cry.. so whenever I see someone else going thru it, I really do pray for them & wish them well.. I wish nothing but happiness for everyone man!! truly! ????????"
