The cast and team of The Big Bang Theory are obviously not working together anymore per se as the iconic sitcom officially ended but the good thing is how there are bits and pieces of the whole team who are reuniting on different projects for different reasons. Recently, we reported about how Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik aka Sheldon and Amy will be collaborating for a new project together and now we have news about another reunion.

Johnny Galecki, who played Leonard in the show is reuniting with the writer's team of the show headed by Anthony Del Broccolo for a new comedy called The Squad at NBC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Squad revolves around a new group of friends (and sometimes enemies) who find companionship and common ground in their mutual love of eSports. The potential series explores what it means to finally find "your tribe" after years of feeling like an outsider.

Del Broccolo will write the script and exec produce alongside Galecki and his Warner Bros. TV-based Alcide Bava Productions banner. The company's Holly Brown will also exec produce, with Cory Wood set as a producer.

The Squad is the latest project to come out of Galecki's overall deal with WBTV, for whom he starred in Big Bang Theory for 12 seasons. Galecki last year developed and exec produced CBS comedy Living Biblically.
