Bhavana Pandey recently opened up about her special bond with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan in an interview with Siddharth Kannan for his YouTube channel. During the conversation, Bhavana revealed that Shah Rukh Khan has had a significant positive influence on her children, particularly teaching them the value of healthy competition.
“There’s so much to learn from him. And I am actually very glad that the children spent so much time around him. Because it’s not about being Shah Rukh Khan, it’s how he has been as a father to Suhana, Aryan and now AbRam. And how he has been with my children. It’s been amazing,” Bhavana shared.
She further disclosed that Shah Rukh would often train Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, and Shanaya Kapoor in sports whenever he had free time. “Whatever free time he had, he wanted to train them, which was amazing. Sports, running, football, he used to do all the sports with the kids because I think he himself is a very active sporty person. Me and Chunky would get lazy for sports. Shah Rukh taught them the art of being competitive in a healthy manner which was beautiful, and he used to always take their side over Aryan and the boys,” Bhavana said.
Reflecting on Aryan Khan, Bhavana described him as “one of the sweetest boys” who is “very well-mannered.” When asked if Aryan feels protective of his childhood friends, she credited Shah Rukh with raising strong and independent daughters. “Shah Rukh has made all the girls so strong that they can protect themselves,” she said.
Bhavana, who married Chunky Panday on January 17, 1998, is the mother of two daughters, Ananya and Rysa Panday. Ananya shares a close friendship with Suhana, while Bhavana enjoys a strong bond with Gauri and Shah Rukh Khan.
The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, a Netflix reality series, brought Bhavana into the limelight in 2020. She appeared alongside Neelam Kothari Soni, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Kiran Sajdeh. Most recently, she featured in the show’s third season, which continues to chronicle the glamorous lives of Bollywood’s elite wives.
