Barun Sobti OPENS UP on the shutdown of 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?'

As the fans are aware, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? is all set to go off-air by 6th October 2017.
In a vis-a-vis chat with Barun, we talked to him about the closure of his television comeback Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and guess what, his co-star Shahana Goswami from upcoming film, Tu Hai Mera Sunday also answered one of our questions.
Says Barun about the show's off air date, "6th of October is going to be the last telecast and co-incidentally, our film will also be releasing on that day itself."
On being asked the reason for this season of Iss Pyaar... not being a success, Barun said, "To be honest, if we knew the reason we would fix it. So I don't know the reason but it's okay. Sometime, things work and sometime it doesn't".
If that's the case, we buzzed him if all the unrealistic content that was depicted in the show could be one of the factors for it not to be successful and being received well? To this Barun replied and so did Shahana.
Said Barun, "You can't get my take on that as I am an integral part of the show."
(Shahana chimes in) "I want to say that there are many unrealistic shows on television that have actually worked. I don't know if that can necessarily be the reason. That is something that you can not pin down as a reason."
Barun took over, "But I can never comment on the unrealistic part because the first job of an actor, as he gets the script is to be convinced about it. Otherwise I won't be able to portray it right. So I can't comment on that."
Well, we wish Barun and Shahana all the luck for their film.
