Bappi Lahiri back from hospital, meets grandson Krrish after 18 months

In a piece of good news, legendary singer and composer Bappi Lahiri has been discharged from hospital and returned back home.

The singer had tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He took to his official Instagram handle to share the news of his discharge and thanked the medical staff for taking care of him.

Bappi Da had written in his post: “With the blessings of Almighty and my loved ones I am back home ! A special thank you to the doctors, Nurses and staff of #breachcandyhospital. Thank you all for the Prayers and Good Wishes A #covidwarriors”

Soon after his Covid diagnosis, his son Bappa Lahiri had flew down to Mumbai from Los Angeles. Bappa brought down his 3-year old son Krrish from the US with him. 

As reported by ETimes, Bappi Da had seen Krrish last when he was 18 months old and after that 18/19 months passed away and they had not met. The singer has reunited with his grandson after 18 months.

Meanwhile speaking of Bappi Da’s health, his son informed that the singer is now fit and feeling a bit weak. However, he is spending good time with his grandchildren.
