On the occasion of World Television Day, we can't help but celebrate the talented individuals who bring our favorite shows to life. One such rising star is Atharva Karve, who has been making waves in the world of television with his exceptional acting skills and charming presence.

Atharva Karve first caught the attention of audiences with his debut performance in the popular series "Ek Mahanayak - BR Ambedkar". His portrayal of a young and ambitious Bhimrao Ambedkar has struck a chord with viewers, earning him praise for his natural talent and ability to bring depth to his roles.

Talking about the importance of Television in people's life, Atharva says "I believe TV plays an important role in many people’s day to day life. I’ve seen many families enjoying serials, news , and sports together. And I’ve also seen some elderly people who are alone at old age homes watching television all day, like television is their family for the rest of their lives."

Considering its legacy and the changes the medium has gone through since its inception, Atharva says, "We’ve heard people saying TV is an Idiot Box , on this day I would like to correct them by saying TV is the most Genius Box we have. It has the power to entertain and educate us at the same time. I feel very lucky my current show on television is about Dr B R Ambedkar. Which has a potential to entertain and educate the audience."

On the professional front, Atharva has been a part of some landmark films of the Marathi Cinema including Harishchandra Chi Factory and Balgandharva. He is currently seen in Ek Mahanayak - BR Ambedkar where he is playing the titular role.
