Ankit Gupta is turning heads with his stint in ‘Bigg Boss 16’. Gupta has been a part of projects like ‘Sadda Haq’, ‘Mayavi Maling’ and ‘Udaariyaan’ among others. Ankit has been one of most sorted, soft spoken and calm personalities that have ever been a part of this controversial show. 

India Forums got in touch with Ankit’s first co-actress from ‘Sadda Haq’, Harshita Gaur who played the character of Samyukta while Gupta essayed the role of Parth. Ever since the show went off-air a few years back, Ankit, Harshita, Param Singh and others have been thick friends. 

When asked if she already knew about Gupta bagging Bigg Boss 16, Harshita said, “Well, I was aware and we were together when he got the call from the makers about his confirmation. I was quite excited and told him he should do the show if he is confident about it. Ankit is quite an intelligent person. He is calm and composed but very smart. He is not a typical ‘Bigg Boss’ material, his demeanor is calm and I believe that’s what makes him an interesting personality for the viewers to watch out for”.

She added, “I met him a day before he entered the Bigg Boss house. He is somebody who’s very calm but he will come across as a strong personality once other contestants gets to know more of him. I’m totally supporting him”.

Interestingly, the ‘Sadda Haq’ trio Param, Ankit and Harshita worked together in an advertisement before signing the show and thus they bond pretty well.
