May the force be with you. This is what actor John Boyega must be actually feeling right now as he has bagged another sci-fi venture after his last outing of the same genre with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Boyega has been roped in to play the lead role in Netflix's upcoming sci-fi presentation, They Cloned Tyrone.

According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, the film is described as pulpy, sci-fi mystery caper, in which an unlikely trio investigates a series of eerie events, alerting them to a nefarious conspiracy lurking directly beneath their hood.

Set up at Macro, They Cloned Tyrone will mark the directorial debut of Creed 2 writer Juel Taylor, who co-wrote the script alongside Tony Rettenmaier. Initially, Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry was in the running and negotiations to play the lead role but it has now ultimately gone to Boyega, who is also soon to be seen once again as Finn in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the final chapter in the third Star Wars trilogy.  Taylor, Rettenmaier, and Stephen "Dr." Love are producing, with shooting expected to start in the first quarter of 2020.
