Recently, Swastik Productions’ newly launched mythological show Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush landed into a huge controversy over showing distorted religious facts. Now, the latest reports suggest that the show which is based on Ramayana might go off-air soon.

As per reports, Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush might go off-air within a span of two weeks. The makers of the show are being pressurized to pull the plugs as soon as possible.

For the uninitiated, Singer-turned-politician Hans Raj Hans has asked Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar to impose a ban on the telecast of the television series "Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush" for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of the Valmiki community.

Earlier, Valmiki community had staged a protest in Punjab during which a youth was shot at but was later operated upon.

Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush is a mythological drama which narrates the tale of Ramayana from the perspective of Lord Rama and Sita’s twins, Luv and Kush. The show produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary stars Himanshi Soni and Shivya Pathania in lead roles.

This is the first serial I've seen go off the air for hurting religious sentiments. Almost every other mythological serial on Indian TV has been guilty of this in the past 10 years or more, and no action was ever taken against them

I guess Shubh Aarambh will be replacing this show. Otherwise they wont be shutting down Shakti so soon so as Gatbandhan or any new show.
