The handsome and talented actor Arjit Taneja who was last seen in kaleerein has bagged his next project. Arjit will soon be seen playing lead role in producer Prateek Sharma's next show under his banner LSD Films.

Prateek is currently producing Manmohini on Zee TV and is soon bringing a new show on Star Plus titled Sufiyana Ishq, featuring Helly Shah and Rajbeer Singh in lead roles.

The latest we hear is that LSD Films will be producing yet another new show titled Bahu Begum for Colors, which will be an intense love story and Arjit has been finalized to play the lead in the show. However, when we contacted the actor he refused to comment on it.

Arjit, who started his career with MTV Splitsvilla season 6 has been a part of shows like Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Kumkum Bhagya, Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do and Kaleerein.

Zindagi Ki Mehek fame Samiksha Jaiswal is been said to have approached to play female lead opposite Arjit, but nothing is confirmed yet.
