After Amarr & Priyal, Toral Rasputra tests positive for COVID-19

We have already seen an array of instances of one leading star after the other from a TV show testing positive for COVID-19. While the likes of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin was an example where it was a double whammy, the same happened with Molkki as the leading couple of the show - Amarr Upadhyay and Priyal Mahajan both tested positive for COVID-19.

However, it seems this is fated even worse for the makers as after Mahajan and Upadhyay's diagnosis, now new entry and new lead of the show, Toral Rasputra has also tested positive for coronavirus.

She confirmed and talked about it with ETimes TV as she said, “Yes, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I underwent a test on Monday, last week, and my reports came in the following day. After my co-actors Amar and Priyal tested positive, the production team informed me about the same and advised me to undergo an RT-PCR test.”

Rasputra has been going through a personal crisis as well. The actor lost her father around the same time she tested positive for COVID-19. She says, “I lost my dad on Wednesday, last week, while I was in isolation. He died of a heart attack. A lot has been going on...it is a bad time for me on the personal front.”

Evidently, she is currently isolated for 14 days as she said,“I am feeling better. Fortunately, I didn’t have any complications as such. I was just coughing a little and had a sore throat. I have quarantined myself for 14 days, which is mandatory. The team associated with the show is extremely supportive. They are cooperating with me. Recovery is more important in this case. Nobody can do anything about it. Had it been any other health issue, I could have gone to the shoot for a few hours. However, in this scenario, I don’t really have an option, but to rest and recover."
