8 year of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania: Varun Dhawan shares a throwback picture with Alia & late Sidharth Shukla
The film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania marked 8 years of its release. Celebrating the same, Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture with Alia Bhatt and late actor Sidharth Shukla.

Today marks the completion of eight years since the release of the romantic comedy Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. In addition to them, the late actor Sidharth Shukla, Gaurav Pandey, Ashutosh Rana, Deepika Amin, and many others appeared in the movie.
Shashank Khaitan, made his directorial debut apart from writing the film as well. Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar, under the umbrella of Dharma Productions, produced it. Moreover, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania became a box office hit.
Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram stories and posted a photo, to commemorate this occasion with with the remark, "8 years of Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulaniya some great memories with amazing people." The image was captured in Delhi during the film's promotion, and showed Varun, Alia and late actor Sidharth Shukla clicking a selfie with their fans.
Varun played Rakesh "Humpty" Kumar Sharma in the movie, Alia played Kavya Pratap Singh, and the late Sidharth played an NRI by the name of Angad Bedi. The leads make their second appearance together in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania after making their debut in Student of the Year.
Their on-screen chemistry in the movie was adored by the crowd, and the duo is still a huge hit.
Talking about their professional front, Varun is currently filming for Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor in Poland. Following that he will be seen in Bhediya with Kriti Sanon. Meanwhile, Alia recently returned to India after completing her shoot for 'Heart Of Stone'. Next she will be seen in the family drama Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh.
