Ridhima Pandit, renowned for her role in "Bahu Humari Rajnikant," recently voiced support for actress Krishna Mukherjee, who accused the producer of her former show 'Shubh Shagun' of harassment and non-payment of dues.

Speaking on News 18 Show Sha, Pandit commended Mukherjee's courage in speaking out. The actress from expressed her dismay over the distressing experiences Krishna faced and commended her bravery in speaking out about them. "Kudos to her for speaking up," she said, highlighting the pervasive issue of producers taking advantage of vulnerable actors, potentially leading to mental health struggles. Pandit condemned the behaviour of the 'Shubh Shagun' producer, stressing that actors are not owned by producers and deserve to be treated with respect. "We are the face of your show," she asserted, reminding producers of the actors' significant contributions.

Ridhima Pandit recalls her own past work experience:

Drawing from her own experience, Ridhima shares how she faced challenges when her mother fell seriously ill. Without specifying names, Pandit reveals that although the producers of one of her shows were kind, she endured mental harassment from the Executive Producer (EP). During this difficult time, she learned about her mother's illness, who was hospitalized in the ICU. Pandit found it distressing to witness her mother's suffering. Despite her pleas for flexibility in her work schedule to visit her mother during ICU visiting hours, which were from 7 am to 8 am and 4 pm to 5:50 pm, she was met with resistance. She proposed options like starting her shift at 9 am or leaving early if she began work at 7 am. However, her requests were denied, leaving her feeling deeply hurt by the lack of compassion and understanding.

Moreover, the actress explains the reasons behind actors' reluctance to speak out about such incidents, attributing it to the fear of repercussions and loss of employment.

For those unaware, Krishna Mukherjee publicly addressed the producer of her former show 'Shubh Shagun' on her Instagram platform, recounting an instance where she was confined to a makeup room while she was unwell.
