Prabhas' sci-fi 'Kalki 2898 AD' strikes digital rights deal sealed: Report

Prabhas is set to dazzle the screen with his upcoming movie, Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. Since its announcement, this multi-starrer flick has been grabbing eyeballs, and recent reports suggest that it's making history in the digital world.

According to Filmy Tollywood, the Kalki 2898 AD team has sealed the biggest digital deal ever, selling the digital rights in 5 languages for a staggering 375 crores. With a production budget of around 600 to 700 crores, this deal could mean the producers have already recouped half of their investment.

Known for its high-octane action, Kalki 2898 AD is sparing no expense on CGI and VFX sequences. An international team is on board to ensure every action scene packs a punch and leaves a lasting impression.

Originally slated for a May 30 release, the film's post-production work has led to a delay. However, anticipation is building, as the makers are expected to finalize the release date soon, with the possibility of it hitting screens on either June 20 or July 12.

With an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and more sharing the screen with Prabhas, Kalki 2898 AD promises to be a cinematic feast for Indian audiences.
