Murder unfolds at Ranveer-Alia's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' set

In a tragic incident, a 55-year-old man lost his life in a shooting at a Greater Noida property during a wedding ceremony on Monday night. The property, featured as the grand Randhawa Paradise bungalow in the film "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani," starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is now a crime scene, as reported by Hindustan Times.

The victim, identified as Ashok Yadav, was allegedly shot dead by his son’s father-in-law during the wedding celebration at the Gaur Mulberry Farmhouse in Greater Noida West. The accused, Shekhar, a resident of Ghaziabad, reportedly used a licensed revolver in the attack. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Monday.

Suniti, the deputy commissioner of police in Central Noida, revealed that the conflict arose due to the divorce proceedings between Ashok's son and Shekhar's daughter. An altercation ensued between Shekhar and Ashok, leading to Shekhar shooting Ashok twice in the head. The chaotic scene allowed Shekhar to escape, and the police are actively investigating the case.

The film "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani," directed by Karan Johar and featuring a star-studded cast including Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan, was released in theaters in July this year. The unfortunate turn of events has now connected the real-life tragedy to a location showcased in the movie, adding an unexpected and somber dimension to the incident.
