Anupamaa actor Kunwar Amar: You have to prepare yourself mentally and not lose your calm

Kunwar Amar, who is currently seen in Rajan and Deepa Shahi’s Anupamaa, says that hardships and struggles are a part of being an actor and that one should prepare mentally for them. He believes every industry has its shortcomings, and one shouldn’t complain about things that one signs up for.

Talking about how he manages the shooting schedule during summers, he said, “It is exhausting to shoot in the summer, especially outdoors, but as I said, it’s what you sign for. You have to prepare yourself mentally and not lose your calm. Also, it’s important to keep yourself hydrated.”

Kunwar also feels that though going on holidays can be tricky when one is a part of a daily soap, planning everything in advance works well for him. He said, “Every actor knows what they are signing in for, but if you pre-plan your trips and vacation, you can still make it happen. I do the same for myself.”

Being an actor is not all rosy as it seems to the outside world, it comes with its own sets of struggle like night shift. But Kunwar is not one to complain about it. “I am not fond of night shoots, but I don’t have a problem with that. Yes, a longer night schedule does make it difficult because, as humans, we have a pattern of life, and it does affect it, so it takes some time to adjust to it. Otherwise, I am not someone who will crib about a night shift every now and then.”
